53% Merino wool, 38% nylon, 9% spandex.

Why not 100% Merino wool? We actually use a 90% wool blend for the majority of our sock. But we use a nylon reinforcement on the heel and toe for greater abrasion resistance and durability. Plus, we use additional Spandex in the shaft of the sock for compression (and to help our socks stay up for 14 hours straight).

So in the parts that really matter for sweat wicking and comfort (the shaft, the top of the foot, and the ankle) our socks are 89% wool. But at the heel and toe where your boots make the most impact on your socks, there's a much higher % of nylon so you don't get holes.

That's why we can offer a 10-year durability guarantee that a lot of people think is crazy.

Machine wash in warm water on gentle cycle with socks inside-out. Do not bleach. Tumble dry on low or hang dry. Do not dry clean.

Nice socks

I primarily purchased these for my wilderness adventures sometimes in the summer but mostly in late fall and winter. I have tried them on and they fit well, have great compression but not too much, and are soft and comfortable.

I haven’t worn wool socks in years because of the memory of those old scratch wool socks of my youth. I decided to give Camel City a shot because I had seen the ads, they are made in the USA, and they are from NC. I grew up in SC and always like to see small business from that area succeed. I work as a technician in a performing arts theater and have to wear safety/toe boots for work. Before these, I was wearing standard cotton socks and I’d come home with my feet just soaked (and honestly a bit smelly). I’ve been wearing these socks almost constantly since buying them 5 months ago and LOVE them. The merino wool is soft and very comfortable on my sensitive feet and they are not bulky/hot, which is nice in the high desert of Arizona when I’m outside in 90-100° temps. As soon as I send this review, I’m buying some crew socks for casual wear and some more boot socks for my wife.

Great Socks, my new Favorite!

Didn't want to leave a review until I put these things through the washer and dryer. Can't believe I spent 75 bucks on a three pack but the same still goes that you get what you pay for sometimes. Been wearing the same brand of tube socks for the last 14 years and still love them but my feet do sweat. I work construction and wearing 8-in boots for 8 hours plus commute takes its toll on your feet. Definitely noticed that my feet were a bit dryer and then with my other choice of socks. I've been wearing the same brand of socks for a long time, what's that something to switch because the last 2 times I did try a different brand I was very disappointed. Will be going back to order another three pack as a birthday gift to myself. Tulsa really like the fact that these are made in the states and come from Carolina. Always very hesitant these days with Facebook ads but this one was legit and a good purchase.

Was skeptical on how cool these socks could actually be. Its no joke. i wear pull on steel toe leather boots and these socks are absolutely incredible. Will be purchasing more for sure
