Materials & Care

53% Merino wool, 38% nylon, 9% spandex.

Why not 100% Merino wool? We actually use a 90% wool blend for the majority of our sock. But we use a nylon reinforcement on the heel and toe for greater abrasion resistance and durability. Plus, we use additional Spandex in the shaft of the sock for compression (and to help our socks stay up for 14 hours straight).

So in the parts that really matter for sweat wicking and comfort (the shaft, the top of the foot, and the ankle) our socks are 89% wool. But at the heel and toe where your boots make the most impact on your socks, there's a much higher % of nylon so you don't get holes.

That's why we can offer a 10-year durability guarantee that a lot of people think is crazy.

Machine wash in warm water on gentle cycle with socks inside-out. Do not bleach. Tumble dry on low or hang dry. Do not dry clean.

Heavy cushion in the toe and heel for steel toe boot comfort.

Have not worn them yet but they look well made. I bought them for the wool content.

Sizing

I have the boot cut socks and they are amazing. I would like to get the no-show socks as well but I have smaller feel and need a size small. Wish they'd make them in that size as well.

The Camel City Mill no-show wool work sock makes a great first impression with solid build quality, comfort, and a nice American flag detail.
