Materials & Care

53% Merino wool, 38% nylon, 9% spandex.

Why not 100% Merino wool? We actually use a 90% wool blend for the majority of our sock. But we use a nylon reinforcement on the heel and toe for greater abrasion resistance and durability. Plus, we use additional Spandex in the shaft of the sock for compression (and to help our socks stay up for 14 hours straight).

So in the parts that really matter for sweat wicking and comfort (the shaft, the top of the foot, and the ankle) our socks are 89% wool. But at the heel and toe where your boots make the most impact on your socks, there's a much higher % of nylon so you don't get holes.

That's why we can offer a 10-year durability guarantee that a lot of people think is crazy.

Machine wash in warm water on gentle cycle with socks inside-out. Do not bleach. Tumble dry on low or hang dry. Do not dry clean.

Better than bombas

I ordered a 6 pack of the black ankle socks a year ago or so and ordered a 6 pack of Hollow brand alpaca wool socks at the same time to try each of them and as the weeks and months went by I found myself always reaching for the CCM socks first when they were all clean and as the time passed I found myself washing the CCM socks as soon as I wore a few of them that week because I would rather use those than any others in my closet. So, I decided to order again.
Pro's- they are holding up well, I've been a year wearing and washing the initial group of them and haven't had any rips tears snags holes, etc. And they do not seem to have lost much elasticity in the toes or tops.
Con's-
Cost, compared to department store or wholesale store they are terribly expensive for something that I think most people are used to not paying much for and not expecting much from
Drying time- I do not put them in the dryer and these do seem to take a long time, relative to other things I am line drying, to get dry.
Reasons I would buy again-
1) I like the product and it's held up well.
2) After I started using them I all but forgot the cost so while it is sticker shock at the moment, I can appreciate having paid a premium price but seemingly also received a quality product.

Reasons I wouldn't buy again
1) The constant emails- I deleted over 200 unread emails from this company today when I sorted my inbox down to find just what had been sent to me to from camel city mill. Why? I bought your product that's supposed to be a 10yr or more purchase why do you feel the need to send me some kind of advertisement, communication, solicitation nearly every day since placing the initial order?
2)- Shop system for checkout- Why? Why won't you just let me put my info in and checkout why do I have to create an account to make a one time purchase? Why do I have to keep up with yet another login and password just to buy your product from you? The shop system is so invasive, it requires yet another username and password aside from the one you made me create for the CCM website. And then it requires a code and it doesn't show up on my CC statement as CCM so I can identify what it was I spent the money on, it just says shop pay so you have to go backwards to find out who and what the charge was actually from.

Great socks for big guys

Isaw you sponsored the YouTuber Cole the Cornstar, thought I’d give your socks a try

I ordered 3 pairs and wore them this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I’m a big guy with property to maintain on Friday I cut grass trimmed the ditch grass and cleaned out the flower beds for the fall. Saturday split fire wood, painted a small section of siding and cooked out for dinner. Sunday applied a second coat of paint on the siding and picked up sticks in the back yard while playing with our two Doodles, Darcy and Ace.
