Materials & Care

53% Merino wool, 38% nylon, 9% spandex.

Why not 100% Merino wool? We actually use a 90% wool blend for the majority of our sock. But we use a nylon reinforcement on the heel and toe for greater abrasion resistance and durability. Plus, we use additional Spandex in the shaft of the sock for compression (and to help our socks stay up for 14 hours straight).

So in the parts that really matter for sweat wicking and comfort (the shaft, the top of the foot, and the ankle) our socks are 89% wool. But at the heel and toe where your boots make the most impact on your socks, there's a much higher % of nylon so you don't get holes.

That's why we can offer a 10-year durability guarantee that a lot of people think is crazy.

Machine wash in warm water on gentle cycle with socks inside-out. Do not bleach. Tumble dry on low or hang dry. Do not dry clean.

Best work socks that I have ever tried, I have been working heavy duty industrial work for almost 40 years and these are heads above, the best socks that I have used.

I’m sold.

I don’t really have sweating problems but I do have to wear waterproof boots, which do not vent well. These socks help with what sweat I do have and my feet feel cooler. I don’t hesitate to spend money on the best boots I can find. I will also spend what I have to for good insoles. These socks complete the package. Wool has surprised me and I wish I’d tried it years ago. With these socks, and my boots and insoles, my feet don’t hurt. They don’t even really get tired. I replaced all of my socks with these and with a 10 year warranty, I think I’ll be good for a long time.
