Materials & Care

53% Merino wool, 38% nylon, 9% spandex.

Why not 100% Merino wool? We actually use a 90% wool blend for the majority of our sock. But we use a nylon reinforcement on the heel and toe for greater abrasion resistance and durability. Plus, we use additional Spandex in the shaft of the sock for compression (and to help our socks stay up for 14 hours straight).

So in the parts that really matter for sweat wicking and comfort (the shaft, the top of the foot, and the ankle) our socks are 89% wool. But at the heel and toe where your boots make the most impact on your socks, there's a much higher % of nylon so you don't get holes.

That's why we can offer a 10-year durability guarantee that a lot of people think is crazy.

Machine wash in warm water on gentle cycle with socks inside-out. Do not bleach. Tumble dry on low or hang dry. Do not dry clean.

Better Than Most

Found these online and decided to give them a try. I normally wouldn’t pay that kind of money for socks but these are worth every penny. They hang in there on the hot days and have a nice compression for the long hauls.

Great Tall Socks

These sucks stayed up on my leg and did not slide down and bunch up. That's what I was worried might happen and that's why I'm not a fan of most tall socks but these performed great!

Totally Amazing Socks

Camel City Mill over the calf Boot socks are as I said Totally Amazing. Generally on other socks I'm pulling and tugging at them all day trying to get them to stay up, but with Camel City's socks I put them on and the stay right where I set them. This is Huge for me I hate tugging at socks!!! And the cushion in these socks are like someone is massaging you feet all day! Skeptical

I read the gushing reviews about these socks; "No Sweating", "No Itch", "Warm In The Cold", "Cool In The Heat". So, I ordered a pair of the 12" boot sock in grey. There sizing chart showed 11.5-13 for my needs. Typically I need a size 13-15 for comfort. The next size available was what they call "Sasquatch" 14-17. I thought well, that's too big but the 11.5-13 might be too small. I ordered the 11.5-13 and when it arrived out looked like a child's sock. I thought what the heck, it's here, I'll try it. It was difficult to put on in contrast to my cotton socks I normally wear but I got them on. I have to say, these things really stretch. I have worn them now for 6 days washing several times and I have to say I have been changed. They do not itch. They stay put but provide great support. I have not had to wear toe warmers since wearing them. I have decided to order another pair in "Sasquatch" to see if the fit for my size 13 for will be better. They seem pricey to me, but if they work and hold up the way they claim they are a good investment. Wilson Forestlands recommended these. I think he's on to something!
