GREAT SOCKS!
Finally discovered the best sock I could ever want. OTC large. Reluctant to spend top dollar because all my life I purchased cotton from the big box stores. I have been a millwright for 25 years and spend alot of time welding and cutting steel with acetylene and plasma torches. The work requires good 10" high leather boots. 10 to 12 hours in boots makes you appreciate good socks.
I struggled with sweaty feet all year round and tried many different things to cure what I thought was some kind of fungal problem but all I needed was socks! No more odor! No more fungal/peeling! I’ll never wear a regular pair of work socks again!
Excellent quality, lovely to wear
The OTC socks are just a ‘tad’ bit taller than the boot socks, but the OTC actually stay up and protect my upper calf from the rough edge of my rubber boots (gotta put pant legs over the boots, makes the boot cuff rub right against the calf). They’ve been through three 16-hour days and three washes, still holding up; and they’re not getting super fuzzy and pilling like other brands have done for me. I’m hard on socks with tromping for miles every day and have hot feet, so they usually don’t last; but these keep my feet relatively dry and they look and feel like they might live up to the hype. For as much as they cost, you betcha I’ll send a sock back for replacement if it gets a hole in it! I’m sold on them though (comfortable, fully USA made, and a great guarantee).
I have several pairs now and I am not disappointed. They are really comfortable and my feet feel great in the hotest most humid days so far. And over the calf socks can be hard to find, so I am thrilled you have them!!!
