The Ironside Merino wool we use is 35% better at wicking sweat when compared to polyester socks, which is what most “sweat wicking” brands use. Our high density knit will keep your feet from sweating in your boots.

We weave Spandex and nylon into our fabric to create light compression around the arch of your foot.

Materials & Care

53% Merino wool, 38% nylon, 9% spandex.

Why not 100% Merino wool? We actually use a 90% wool blend for the majority of our sock. But we use a nylon reinforcement on the heel and toe for greater abrasion resistance and durability. Plus, we use additional Spandex in the shaft of the sock for compression (and to help our socks stay up for 14 hours straight).

So in the parts that really matter for sweat wicking and comfort (the shaft, the top of the foot, and the ankle) our socks are 89% wool. But at the heel and toe where your boots make the most impact on your socks, there's a much higher % of nylon so you don't get holes.

That's why we can offer a 10-year durability guarantee that a lot of people think is crazy.

Machine wash in warm water on gentle cycle with socks inside-out. Do not bleach. Tumble dry on low or hang dry. Do not dry clean.

Cushion Details

Heavy cushion in the toe and heel for steel toe boot comfort.
Full cushion through the calf, specifically designed for all day comfort with 6, 8, and 10 inch boots.
Light cushion through the metatarsal.
Light compression in the calf.

They work exactly as advertised! They’re the most comfy socks I’ve ever worn! I love how my feet aren’t soaking wet by the end of the workday and they don’t stink either! at first, I was disappointed because I ordered three pairs and the toes of two of them blew out the first time I wore them, but as soon as I let Campbell city mill know, they sent me two new pairs for free! The socks are great quality of customer service is a great quality as well! I will definitely be buying more in the future!

I have worn these socks for two days in a row without washing them. They are just as comfortables the second day as the first. The only reason I did not wear them three days straight, was because I put the second pair on to see if they were just as comfortable. I plan on wearing the third pair today why the first two are hand washed and hanged on the line to dry.
