Materials & Care

53% Merino wool, 38% nylon, 9% spandex.

Why not 100% Merino wool? We actually use a 90% wool blend for the majority of our sock. But we use a nylon reinforcement on the heel and toe for greater abrasion resistance and durability. Plus, we use additional Spandex in the shaft of the sock for compression (and to help our socks stay up for 14 hours straight).

So in the parts that really matter for sweat wicking and comfort (the shaft, the top of the foot, and the ankle) our socks are 89% wool. But at the heel and toe where your boots make the most impact on your socks, there's a much higher % of nylon so you don't get holes.

That's why we can offer a 10-year durability guarantee that a lot of people think is crazy.

Machine wash in warm water on gentle cycle with socks inside-out. Do not bleach. Tumble dry on low or hang dry. Do not dry clean.

Riding Socks

Purchased these to try out, while riding my motorcycle in Thorogood 8” boots.

I HATE having to constantly pull my socks up after walking a while, and although I’m mainly on the bike, I obviously need to walk around from time to time and for some reason, while wearing boots, the need to pull up my socks, tends to happen more often.
So far I’ve taken these socks on 3 long trips and they’ve met my expectations. I live in SE Coastal Ga. Where the humidity is basically the same as the temperature most days and though it’s not like having ankle socks on, they aren’t hot like you think they’d be.
Made In The USA is a BIG PLUS in my opinion!

So far so good as advertised have been trying different socks lately and I am really liking these socks . Use to a heavier sock being in on my feet and moving all day summer threw winter . But must say fit is great and don't even know you are wearing them! Planning on getting more.

Comfort and stretch

Had my doubts about whether or not these socks would actually be cool. I work in 100+ degree temps and my feet stay cool all day. Another great thing is these socks have a lot more stretch than other wool options I've tried. These are just like a normal cotton/poly socks instead of being "stiff" like other wool socks
