Materials & Care

53% Merino wool, 38% nylon, 9% spandex.

Why not 100% Merino wool? We actually use a 90% wool blend for the majority of our sock. But we use a nylon reinforcement on the heel and toe for greater abrasion resistance and durability. Plus, we use additional Spandex in the shaft of the sock for compression (and to help our socks stay up for 14 hours straight).

So in the parts that really matter for sweat wicking and comfort (the shaft, the top of the foot, and the ankle) our socks are 89% wool. But at the heel and toe where your boots make the most impact on your socks, there's a much higher % of nylon so you don't get holes.

That's why we can offer a 10-year durability guarantee that a lot of people think is crazy.

Machine wash in warm water on gentle cycle with socks inside-out. Do not bleach. Tumble dry on low or hang dry. Do not dry clean.

Great boot sock

Bought these to wear with and break in some new Redwing Iron Rangers. They are very comfortable and much cooler than any cotton socks I have tried with my boots. Also just more comfortable in general. They do stay up well. Will buy again in the future.

You need these socks

In the same week of record setting heat in Montana I ordered socks from Camel City Mill, Hollow, and WillowAce. I think they all make a fine product, but I think Camel City makes the best work sock. They are much more comfortable on a long 14 hour shit in the heat with the toe and heel padding. I highly recommend this product.

Really good socks

I have a lot of darn tough socks so I figured I’d try some camel mill socks and the feel good i got the light weight one so it’s hard to compare to the darn tough i have the heavy weight in them but i really like the camel city mills light weight I guess i need some of there heavy weight socks to compare but i would definitely say that they are quality socks made in the USA
